Pater Noster House: A home for those living with HIV/AIDS in the Columbus, OH area. It is run by the St. Sebastian Catholic Community. The house is set south of Columbus, and is home to St Sebastian Catholic Community, and has the first "free-standing" church in the Reformed catholic Church. The residents along with area's clergy actually built up the chapel with their own hands. An effort of true community spirit!

Meeting Christ in Community

You are warmly invited to gather in Christian community around The Largest Table. Every Wednesday St. John’s Church, Columbus, Ohio hosts a 15-minute noon worship service with communion in the sanctuary, followed by a community lunch served free of charge in Fellowship Hall until 1:30 p.m.

Each week St. John's welcomes a wonderfully varied community of individuals who come from all walks of life.  St. Sebastian RCC  and Pater Noster House are long-term partners in this very important community outreach program.

Volunteers are always needed! St. John's is seeking groups of 8-10 volunteers to prepare and serve the Wednesday noon meal. This is a great opportunity for fun and fellowship, and a wonderful chance to meet new people from many walks of life. If you are part of such a group, or if you would like to join a team already in place to help on a given Wednesday, please let us know! Full supervision will be provided by The Largest Table Mission Team.

We also welcome the donation of food supplies, or any personal hygiene items (regular or trial size) that you might be able to provide for our guests.  A sumptuous variety of home-baked desserts has become a staple of every meal. Or perhaps you are part of a Sunday School group who might provide table decorations for us. For all these and any other questions, please contact Pastor Kathy Dwyer or call the church office at 614-224-8634.

Office of Chaplancies -RCC

United States Port Ministry

Each day America's ports are visited by sailors from around the world dropping off cargo and picking up American made goods for export overseas. Travel across the oceans is extremely dangerous work. A voyage may only last several weeks or several months but during this time long days and hard work are the norm. Loneliness' is understood and there is plenty of time to think of loved ones far behind.
Our ministry serves the needs of seafarers. We provide for spiritual needs, and general goodwill. Explore our web-site and see how you can become an ambassador without leaving home by becoming a Chaplain Support Officer.         www.usportministry.org
