A Message from Archbishop Phillip Zimmerman

Dear Family in Christ,

 

As Christians, we are called to be ONE priestly people, shepherded by our Lord. 

 

Recognizing the need for real unity among the various churches in the independent catholic movement, The Reformed Catholic Church has launched a new ecumenical outreach movement entitled: The International Conference of Independent Catholic Communities (ICICC).  Membership in the ICICC is open to all affirming catholic churches, parishes and faithful as well as those who support them. 

 

It is time for the independent movement to become ONE, as we are commanded. Until we commit to recognizing  the wonderful diversity of people and liturgical celebrations in the movement and as long as there is division among the various elements of the independent movement, the greater body of Christ will continue to be wounded. As we enter the 21st century, it is time to unite and heal the body of Christ!

 

The world has enough judges, it is time to for each of us to be shepherds!

 

I welcome you to consider joining this important and historic movement. Share your faith, your knowledge and your love of Christ with others who are also reaching out, seeking the Lord.  Help bring home the sheep!
