Franciscan Order
A Franciscan is a follower of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi.
Dedicated to Gospel values, the Franciscans live in simplicity and joy.
Quick to pray, the Franciscan is particularly devoted to the Eucharist and
to the Blessed Mother. The Reformed Catholic Franciscans continue the
quest and walk with Francis and Clare into the 21st. century.
After 1226, the Franciscan Order divided and today exists in several
distinct and separate groups. While each group is unique, they are all
united in the spirit of Francis. Like Francis who is called The
Mirror of Christ, we strive to bring, to find and to encounter Jesus
wherever we go. Our motto is Peace and Goodness and with ease, we wish
that to everyone we meet.
The Reformed Catholic Franciscans consist of several members belonging to
different groups. These groups have elected a Guardian to guide and
bless their pilgrimage and quest.
Franciscan Motto: Pax et Bonum (Peace and All Good)
The Reformed Catholic Church Franciscan Communities, Order of the Divine Mercy Franciscan' s, Franciscan Brothers for Christian Community, Franciscans International, Order of St. Francis. and several independent professed members. Several Franciscans maintain membership by private vows and/or promises to the Reformed Catholic Franciscans.
