Bishop G. Peter
Posthumus, OPJB
Requiescat
in Pace

The Spirit manifests in both darkness and light – in both death and
in life.
As a Christian people we see in life the “end,” which is really
only the beginning of an eternal life and union with God. The One who called us
by name as we grew within our mother’s womb is this same Loving God who draws us
back into the Mystery of himself in the passage from this mortal life into his
own.

Dear Family in Christ,
Bishop Posthumus' family presented me with the cremains of our brother,
Bishop Peter, on Wednesday, November 21. The St. Sebastian community
reverentially arranged his cremains (contained in an ossuary covered by a
pall), miter, crossier, monastic rosary, pride chain, and photograph to
allow him to Lay in State in the Chapel for 30 days.
All RCC Clergy and faithful are welcome to visit the chapel to pay their
respects to Bishop Peter. A Requium Mass is scheduled for the 3rd
Wednesday of December, with an RCC Wide Memorial to be celebrated at the
Spring Synod in April.

Eternal Rest Grant Unto Your
Servant, Peter,
O Lord, and Let Your Perpetual
Light Shine Upon Him.

active role in the developing the start of Holy Cross. The Parish was very
blessed to have had +Peter as part of it parish family. He shared his wisdom
and blessed us with his love of the scriptures. We would like to share
some of the love we received from +Peter with all of you.
