Vicar of the Judiciary

Most Reverend Shane Price, Bishop of the Diocese of the Holy Spirit, has accepted an appointment to serve as Vicar of the Judiciary of The Reformed Catholic Church effective January 22, 2008. 

Bishop Price has a demonstrated history of excellence in service as the Judicial Vicar of his previous jurisdiction.

Apostolic Nuncio to Australia

Monsignor Ian Charles Adrian, OSB of Brisbane, Australia, after a period of prayerful discernment and reflection, requested incardination into the growing family of The Reformed Catholic Church. Monsignor Adrian will serve as our Apostolic Nuncio to Australia and is working to develop Formation Programs for the RCC.  Monsignor Adrian will also be working with Sr. Meg Britton to establish a Reformed Catholic Church community in Queensland, Australia.  Please keep our Australian family in your prayers.

Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of Divine Mercy

Most Reverend Barry A. Ferguson, OSB of St. Benedict's Chapel in Lubbock, Texas, has accepted an appointment to serve as Diocesan Bishop for the Diocese of  Divine Mercy of the South Central States in the United States, effective January 23, 2008.   Please keep him in your prayers as he begins his new ministry.

Diocese of The Holy Trinity

The RCC celebrates the birth of the new Diocese of Holy Trinity. This newest Diocese

will cover  the New England Region of  the United States.

Fr. Martin Jordan, RSJ of Holy Trinity Parish, of Portsmouth, Maine, has accepted an appointment to the office of Chancellor of the Diocese of the Holy Trinity.  Please keep him in your prayers as he begins his new ministry.

Director of Spiritual Direction Program

Father Michael Abair of Pilgrim Sanctuary Apostolate in Camden, NJ has accepted an invitation to assume the role of establishing a formation program in Christian Spirituality. Father Abair serves as Steward of Spiritual Direction ministries within the R.C.C. and primarily exercises his ministry in spiritual direction and scholarship in the area of Christian Spirituality, for which he was trained at the Fordham University in the tradition of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). Please keep him in your prayers as he begins his new ministry.

New Parish in Seattle, Washington, named in honor of St. John the Beloved.

The Reformed Catholic Church has gained a parish community in Seattle, Washington, named in honor of St. John the Beloved.  This new parish was founded by Fr. Richard St. Clare, OSB, who was ordained on January 13, 2008 at St. Sebastian in Columbus, Ohio. Please keep our new priest and his parish community in your prayers.

Vicar of Inter-Faith Relations                                                          

Most Reverend Barry A. Appointments and Elevations of Archbishops

 

The Most Reverend +David Frazee and  +William Quinlan have been elevated to the dignified office of the Arch- episcopacy on the 20th of January, 2008, in a local ceremony. Their offices will be affirmed and confirmed at Synod, 2008 in Atlanta, at which time, with Most Reverend +Patrick Batuyong, all will also be formally elevated to this dignity in a formal ceremony of installation.

 

 

Archbishop David Frazee, the Coadjutor-USA, holds the responsibility of day to day operations of the RCC in the United States of America.

Archbishop Bill Quinlan, of the Archdiocese of St. Patrick, will be assisting Archbishop David Frazee.

Bishop Patrick Batuyong, of the Diocese of St. Michael the Defender, will be responsible for the processing of Incardination requests for clergy in the USA/Canada.
